HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I don't know where to even begin - Moose was just the perfect match for my husband and I. Starting with the engagement photos - we braved the freezing Wisconsin temperatures and even a little snow in November and had great photos regardless of the uncooperating weather. Then our wedding day was magical because of Moose. He and his team were everywhere capturing all the moments we wanted. Not to mention - we had so much fun smiling and laughing with them! We cannot thank Moose enough for making us feel so great on our wedding day and based on just the sneak peeks - we know we are going to have the BEST photos. Finding vendors for a small wedding gathering can be tough. When my now husband and I came across Blu Moose Photography, we knew we'd stumbled across something special. Moose (as he is affectionately called) was all-in from the beginning, even visiting our wedding venue right away. Moose and his wife (who we chatted with via email) are kind, prompt, and make what can be an otherwise stressful experience very enjoyable. We didn't do engagement photos, so our wedding photos are the only professional photos we have together - and frankly our only photos that aren't selfies. We were blown away by our images, especially the candid moments and wedding decor details that we may have missed. Moose is professional and a blast to be around. If you're looking for someone who cares about you as a couple and will share in the joy of your intimate occasion (however large or small), then Blu Moose Photography is an excellent choice.

Moose is the kind of photographer that you'll want to grab a beer with after the wedding. My husband hates having his photo taken so in addition to finding a photographer who's style I liked and we could afford, I wanted someone he would feel comfortable around. I knew right away Moose was the photographer for us when he offered to review outfit options I was considering for our engagement shoot. He'll be almost as excited about your wedding as you are! Because of an issue at the hair salon when I was getting a blow out before our engagement shoot we were 45 minutes late and Moose was totally understanding about it. He offered us a 2nd engagement shoot even though the delay was totally my fault. As a couple, we're awkward in front of a camera and our wedding was a big dance party so we knew we wanted more candid shots than posed. Moose did a great job capturing the energy of the night even in the very low lighting of our venue. He even stayed to dance with us after he was done shooting. My one regret is that we don't have just a few more portraits of us as a couple on the wedding day, which is what Moose is best at. We had a tight, non-traditional schedule and I didn't communicate clearly that some of the shots I wanted needed to happen before guests started arriving so we lost that time to detail shots being taken. #1 tip for brides with all of your vendors is communicate clearly! Moose is a joy to work with and beyond generous. He surprised us a few months after our wedding by dropping off a set of prints and a bottle of the champagne we served at our wedding. Moose is the whole package and worth every penny!

I have had the pleasure to work with Talwin and now am honored to have him as our wedding photographer. He made our engagement photo session so carefree and natural and has such a contagious easy going attitude that made us feel so comfortable. We absolutely LOVE every single one of our engagement photos, it's going to be quite impossible to choose between them all!! Moose is such a phenomenal photographer! I can without a doubt look at every single photo he had taken for my engagement and wedding day and see the love, the quirkinesses, and atmosphere between my husband and I. I love how he goes with the flow and in that moment of how you're interacting with your partner or your guests, nothing has to be completely forced to where you feel uncomfortable. I love that moose lets you know how you're doing, how you're looking, he finds those small details he doesn’t just snap a photo in the hopes the couple looks good but also there surrounding, the positioning, everything is so thoughtfully planned with good taste! Moose was absolutely amazing to work with! He was always just a message away about anything from tux fits to just a friend to calm the nerves. Moose had given us such an amazing experience allowing both our love for each other as well as our personalities shine through. We were always laughing, smiling, or just having a good time which was huge for two people not loving being the center of attention. Moose truly is someone I’d recommend to anyone due to his organization to finding that perfect picture that makes sense to him and you understand why he did it all once the picture is done and out there.
